Lowell Rose - News Reporter & Anchor
Lowell is an ambitious reporter at Spectrum News in Rochester, New York.
He joined the news team in August of 2019 after working for NBC29 in Charlottesville, Virginia for 2 years as a reporter….
Lowell started his career in journalism as a Production Assistant/Video Editor for CBS6 in his hometown of Richmond, Virginia.
While in Richmond, Lowell fined tuned his skills behind the scenes and worked his way up to becoming a full-time Video Editor for CBS6 and DCW50 newscasts.
Lowell is passionate about telling people’s stories and covering events impacting the community as a whole.
He earned his degree in Broadcast Journalism from Mississippi State University.
Outside of work, Lowell enjoys spending time with family, traveling, exploring the outdoors, or finding a cool place to eat. He is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity and the National Association of Black Journalists.
